The Platform

Three pillars, one shared cause.

The Claus Roxin Academic Research Center for Liberalism and the Rule of Law and the Claus Roxin International Academic Forum on Humanities and Social Sciences were founded by Chinese and German colleagues. The initiative was carried out with the strong support and deep trust of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Claus Roxin, one of Germany’s most prominent legal scholars and an internationally renowned scholar, who served as a university professor at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, a member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences, and honorary chairman of the Karl May Society.

The high-level international scientific commission was founded in 2023. It comprises more than 120 professors, experts, and senior researchers from over 80 renowned universities. Participating institutions include, among others, Peking University, Fudan University, Renmin University of China, Xiamen University, Hainan University, Bucerius Law School, the University of Göttingen, Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt University of Berlin, the University of Tübingen, and the University of Munich.
